Led Zeppelin - Bring It On Home

The Self cannot be pierced by weapons or burned by fire; water cannot wet it, nor can the wind dry it. The Self cannot be pierced or burned, made wet or dry. It is everlasting and infinite, standing on the motionless foundations of eternity. The Self is unmanifested, beyond all thought, beyond all change. Knowing this, you should not grieve.
The Bhagavad Gita (2:23-25)

So a while ago I got tagged by thethinice, and here are my answers.

1. What dish can you cook best?

I’m told that I make a rocking pasta sauce. If you happen to live close and you’re hungry… you’re all invited.

2. How do you spend your Friday nights?

With my parents, watching lame tv shows. Friday is the day I come home to my parents’ home and it’s always nice to be “home-home” again.

3. Describe yourself using one song.

This is too hard, but I think I’ll go for Three Little Birds by Bob Marley, cause it’s basically the the motto I live by.

4. Do you have any nasty habits? Leave some confessions.

I’m horribly bad at cleaning. I always use the “if you don’t look at it, there’s no need to clean it” strategy. Luckily for me I have four other roomies.

5. What’s the simplest thing that makes you cheerful?

When my lecture notes take up exactly one piece of paper. First hour the front, second hour the back. I’m super uncool.

6. Body with a soul or soul with a body?

Body with a soul. Can’t give any arguments though.

7. What was the highlight of your week?

I’ve been to Paris, so there were a lot of highlights. Also there I found out the hotel was one block away from the Rue Saintogne, which was the street of the Starzynski family in the book Her name was Sarah.

8. Strongest desire?

Talking to people from every country on the planet. I want to be able to talk to as many people as possible, and I’m a language/culture/countries nerd. Also I love strangers.

9. Last dream?

I only remember my dreams until like noon, so I have no idea. Should start writing down my dreams again.

10. Something you always wanted to do but never managed to do it.

I want to play bass, but I’m afraid I don’t have time for it to practice enough. As soon as I finish my study and have a job, I’m buying one with my first salary.

11. Would you rather smoke a joint with Bob Dylan or drink rum with Johnny Depp?

Smoke a joint with Bob Dylan. Not only cause I’m not a fan of rum. Bob Dylan is… Bob Dylan.

I’m not gonna tag other people cause I’m bad at picking things, and especially when those things are people I have to pick. I hope you guys forgive me.

Thankyou!

Accent theme by Handsome Code

Hello, my name is Bram, and I live in the beautiful country of The Netherlands.

I have the right to be able to study on the most beautiful thing in the Universe: the Universe itself :) I'm halfway my Bachelor in Astrophysics, so I love maths (btw, in highschool I hated it). Deal with it, math is cool, cause thinking is cool. Nobody ever died of thinking, and I think math and physics are good for the human soul.
Don't worry, if you don't like science, it does not mean I don't like you.

I am an atheist. When you study astronomy you prove that God does not exists at least 4 times a day. At least.

Here is a little list of things I like. In random order:

Languages
Our Universe

Food
Twitter
Traveling
Knowing
See that all people are different

And the thing I like the most: You.

I live for music. Music, music, music. What music? Well.. just look at my blog. I think that says enough.
I would go gay for David Gilmour, but when I look at Stevie Nicks or Melanie Safka or Grace Slick I change my mind again.
I also find music the greatest thing to talk about, so don't hesitate to ask stuff, I like to hear from you all! I don't bite. That was a lie. I nearly* bite.

Let your day be spectacular. The Universe has got your back. Peace out.
